ABOUT

Hi, I’m Pete Goslow, and I want to thank you for your interest. Whether you're considering hiring me for one of the most important days of your life or for a special event or party, I genuinely welcome the opportunity. Let me share a little about myself.
I’ve been performing and DJing professionally for over 25 years, with thousands of weddings, concerts, and events to my credit. I don’t just bring experience—I love what I do. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with so many wonderful couples and clients, especially since wedding days are filled with positive, exciting energy! I find joy in making people happy through music—whether I’m DJing or performing live. Whether it’s playing guitar during a bride’s processional, singing cover songs during cocktail hour, or keeping the dance floor busy as a DJ, it’s a thrill for me.
I believe that personalized attention makes all the difference on your big day. During the planning process, I work closely with my clients to craft detailed, custom timelines and music programs that reflect their unique visions. This level of care and customization is something larger companies often can’t provide.
My Approach & Philosophy as a DJ:
I’m committed to tailoring every event to fit my couples’ tastes and expectations. I keep a wide knowledge of dance music—from every decade to today's hits—and my primary goal is to keep everyone dancing and having fun. I pay close attention to your must-play songs and string them together seamlessly with perfect timing, mixing experience, talent, and instinct to create an engaging and memorable atmosphere.
Professional Bio & Details:
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Performance and Classical Guitar with an emphasis in Vocal from Chapman University’s Conservatory of Music. As a professional Classical Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter, DJ, and Emcee, I’ve been performing for over 25 years.
Throughout my career, I’ve received numerous accolades, including The Knot’s Best of Weddings & WeddingWire’s Couple’s Choice Awards every year from 2014 to 2025. In 2017, I was inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame.
Currently, I am finishing a singer-songwriter album titled Oceans, which features collaborations with members of Elton John Band—I will be releasing this summer.
Some of my notable performances include a wedding on the taping of Bravo’s Top Chef, appearances on Daybreak OC(KDOC), and performances at presidential, legislative, and gubernatorial receptions. I’ve also sung the National Anthem at professional sports events and warmed up for artists like Lisa Loeb and Olivia Newton-John. Recently, I was hired by Michael Eisner and his wife Jane to perform privately at their home in Bel Air. Additionally, I performed at private dinners prepared by Chef Wolfgang Puck—who jokingly called me “the guitar guy.”
Musical Roots & Education:
During my classical training at Chapman University, I was a member of the acclaimed Chapman Guitar Quartet, recording an album and touring across the Western U.S. I performed in master classes for legendary guitarists such as Manual Barrueco, Carlos Barbosa-Lima, and David Russel.
Chapman’s renowned vocal program allowed me to study voice with some of North America’s top teachers. After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles full-time, continuing private guitar study with the late Jim Smith at USC and vocal training with world-class coach Valerie Morehouse. I recorded and released recordings of my classical guitar album Love’s Passion and my singer-songwriter album Leave It All Behind.
